We went trick-or-treating on Greenwood Avenue on the afternoon of Halloween. Nina was a bit uncertain about the whole thing at first, but caught on after a while. She had a giraffe costume that she rejected just minutes before our planned departure time so we found a pretty dress in our hand-me-down collection, added her beloved backpack, and she became the princess and the frog. She spent a bit of time sorting through her candy when we got home. Most of the rejects were chocolate and I happily helped her by eating them. Her favorite are Dum Dum lollipops.
