Merry Christmas!

We arrived home safely. The most treacherous part of the journey was the last 1/2 mile. The van we were in couldn't make it up the icy bridge of the exit ramp to Lake City Way, and we had to stop and put on chains. Ying Ying did fine on the plane. She had a couple of bouts of rowdiness but also slept for a couple of hours. We "let" her take a long nap today (like there is any way to stop a completely exhausted child from napping) and will try to put her to bed close to her regular bedtime. We're pretty wiped out too, and we will try to get a few more photos on the blog tomorrow.

Peace on earth and good will to all!

P.S. For those of you unfamiliar with our house, these pictures were not taken in our living room. It is the lobby of the hotel where we stayed in Guangzhou. The Chinese are crazy about Christmas.
